Daniel Rethazy is Senior Vice-President of Contact Centers at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).
Daniel started his career in Manufacturing as a Lean Six Sigma master course conductor and practitioner. He then spent 6 years as a Management Consultant in Toronto at McKinsey and Company in their service operations practice working with large organizations on strategy and operational transformation programs.
Daniel has spent the past 10 years working at Canadian banks in direct channels and contact centres. In his current role at CIBC he leads the organization’s contact centres, including frontline teams as well as strategy and transformation. CIBCs Contact Centres have 5,000 employees and handle over 25MM live agent calls per year.
Daniel has a B.Sc., in Human Biology from the University of Guelph and an MBA from Harvard University. Daniel lives in Toronto, Canada. He is married with 2 boys, ages 7 &9 and spends most of his free time coaching his kids ice hockey and baseball teams.
